1. Definitions
The "Platform" refers to LearnxBoost, a SaaS application for education management, built for private tutors and tutoring centres. The "User" is any person who accesses or uses the Platform. The "Organization" is the entity (individual tutor, tutoring centre or school) that manages its own area within the Platform.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering and using the Platform, the User accepts these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms, notifying users of significant changes.
3. Use of the Platform
The Platform is provided for educational purposes: following students, recording sessions, producing materials and managing tutoring activity. The User agrees to: use the Platform lawfully and ethically; not share access credentials with third parties; not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform; not use the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including software, design, text and logos, is the property of LearnxBoost or its licensors. Content generated by the User (data, reports, feedback) remains the property of the User or their Organization. The Platform grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for: indirect losses resulting from Platform use; temporary service interruptions for maintenance; actions of third parties that compromise User data outside our control.
6. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. In case of dispute, the parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before resorting to the competent courts of Portugal.
7. Payments and Invoicing
Platform payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and may include recurring subscriptions or one-off purchases. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. The User can cancel at any time in the settings panel — access remains active until the end of the already-paid period, with no partial refund of the remaining time. Refund requests are evaluated case by case. Where the Organization enables the invoicing integration, invoices in Portugal are issued via Vendus, complying with reporting to the Tax Authority, and sent by email at the time of payment.
